NEW CLUBS NOW FORMING!
Pickleball Ping Pong
Beginning Thursday, Oct. 17, SU will offer a gymnastics club.
The club will practice twice a week beginning on Thursday, Oct. 17 at Shenandoah Tumblers (221 Commonwealth Ct., Winchester, VA 22602). The club practice times are 8 – 10 p.m. on Tuesdays & Thursdays. The cost is $150 per person for the remainder of the academic year. The Club Sports Department (Campus Recreation & Wellness) will contribute funds for each member to keep the out-of-pocket cost to a minimum. Fall practices began on October 17th, November (no practice Thanksgiving week), and the first week of December. For the spring, practices start in February and run through the end of April. There is no practice during the week of spring break. There are two waivers participants must complete to be eligible to participate. Club payments are due by Nov. 8, 2024. The Rock Climbing Club is a club sport available for any students whether they are experienced or want to try out something new!
The Climbing Club provides carpooling to the Sportrock climbing gym where students climb at a discounted rate with gear rentals included. Climbing is a great form of exercise, an effective outlet for stress, and an experience that builds trust and friendship among members.

Shenandoah Swim Club is a fun way for returning swimmers or new swimmers to get involved in swimming at Shenandoah University through practices and competitions. It is a club to introduces swimming, provides the basics, promotes speed swimming, and fosters and preserves the highest ideals of good sportsmanship and character through swimming.
Swim Club practices at the pool at the War Memorial Building in Jim Barnett Park, located just a few minutes from campus!

The Swim Club will be utilizing open swim times at Jim Barnett Park in an effort to reduce costs to individuals as well as provide opportunities to be in the water.
